After upgrading to the iPhone 3.0 software, my iPhone stopped picking up my home wifi network. Other people's iPhones are able to use the wifi network, just not mine. Would restoring factory settings be an effective solution? Any other suggestions?

When you set up email on the iphone, there are two options for setting up gmail. Either you can press the gmail button, or you can follow google's instructions on how to set up IMAP for gmail on the iPhone. What's the difference between these?
